Krishna Inks is the brainchild of Dr. Sreekumar — a medical professional by day and connoisseur by night.
His passion for fountain pens began in his youth, long before the ballpoint era, when he would grind and turn pens by hand. Inspired by his mentor, Mr. Ramachandran of Calicut, he began making fountain pen inks in 2010. What started as a hobby soon became his lifelong passion. A proud supporter of the Make in India movement, Dr. Sreekumar handcrafts every bottle in his workshop in Kerala, India — God’s Own Country.
The sheen works best with higher quality papers like the Tomoe River & Endless Regalia the sheen will reduce significantly with lower quality paper.
We've tried hard to accurately scan and colour-correct genuine Krishna ink swatches, but please note the usual caveats about variations due to scanning and displaying on your monitor, please treat this as a guide only.

I have been using IBlack4 since launching. But this IBlac5 series have more flow compared to IBlack 4. Good decent black ink for official use. it will outstand with all the other black ink available in the market And maintenance to pen also vey low..
Sir,
I think Krishna Ink supplied is very concentrated. Is there any way to dilute the ink for flawless flow of ink from storage to the nib of the pen

This is a good solid black. It will not give you an absolute jet black like you might from a pigment based ink like Chuo Kuro or similar, but good nonetheless. With a Kanwrite medium SS nib on Ayush paper, you get a dark grey-back and can almost see a slight red shimmer at certain angles. Or maybe that's just me.
What this page sorely lacks is product information. What is special about the iBlack 5? How is it different from the iBlack 4 or other preceding inks?
This ink was amazing.
